# How do I deactivate or terminate an employee?


Go to Settings > Employees > find employees> Enter the employee's profile (press the blue icon at the end of the line) > edit > uncheck the active bar > save.

Remember, in order to disable it, you do not have to have any pending appointments assigned to your user in the agenda.
